Genealogy as a Shared Activity

Although I like Genealogy in any form, it is fun to coordinate with another person. Each of you can participate in a way that accentuates your strengths. For instance, my husband is a whiz at finding people and/or places on the Census. So he concentrates on the Census. I am better at genealogical research and finding new and better websites. So that is where I usually start. It is great to find documented information on the ancestor you are working on and even better when two people can find things independently and share what they have found together. It halves the work that needs to be done, and is fun, too.
